It's SATURDAY!!!
but i have to update on my posting at A & E first(:
start with wed - 17Sept:
i'm at pac1 which is also called the Resus room.
Pretty hectic when patients coming in...
The staff nurses seemed to be very excited when there's collapsed case. *Hmph*
Collapsed cases, serious chest pain, uncontrolled abd pain, unconscious states.
Didn't get to do cpr but did get to do last office + remove ETT from the mouth.
Did Urine Catherisation... shucks where's the hole sia? haha!
did halfway, patient kept shouting in pain. staff nurse helped me in the end.
Prof was very funny. I prepared ETT intubation even before pt comes in.
Lubricating the ETT + introducer in progress...
Prof:"Are we going to charge for that?"
Me:"erm, no."
Staff nurse hold my hand and squeezed alot of lubricant.
Prof:"WOW, that's alot! That's for which hole?"
Staff nurse:"Depends on which hole we're looking at!"
And still, the conversation carried on.
omg... -Adult content- NO more! ^^

Morning shift!
we're like back in the ward in less than 12hrs la!
to be exact is 10 hrs only.
i'm @ Children Emergency.
Night shift nurses are super hyper while the morning nurses are still in their dreamland. haha!
They should look the other way round. Weird eh?
SN Nora is so cute... she's pregnant and she's super funny.
Came to know sth like tissue glue thing!
An amazing thing to stick yr wound nicely... u have a superficial cut and by using that, it can glued the skin back. COOL right? SUPER LA!

Blue baby came in, two doctors & 2 staff nurses + one student nurse *me! helping out.
Suctioning, hypocount, blood tests, face mask, taking vital signs.
OMG! poor thing.
Asthma cases, injury cases, fits, etc.
Friday 19sept.
Last day in A&E.
Guess what? I'm finally at Triage station la! *super happy*
Mr Alan came in and asked millions of questions...
SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT...
and i answered very the NOT confident. haha! -so singlish-
he says," You're right but be more confident in yr answers la! "
okay...
Three pregnant nurses chatting together!
1 chinese, 1 malay and 1 indian... hey! RARE leh! hahaha!!!
Clinical instructor's feedback column is BLANK!
why is that so? miracle sia :x
Because he's the unique clinical instructor of all!!!
he says it doesn't make a difference if he comment or not.
-Tell me is there a difference between a book that is fully filled up and a book that is not fully filled.
Then, think again... You wrote so many stuff in the book but does that means u have learnt alot?
And does that means u know alot?
So i dont think that it makes a difference if i wrote any feedback anot.
What i have to say to you guys, i have said already.
So do u want to have that written in there?

And i cant see why year 3 still in this state, going to staff nurses.
Please brush up and know the patho, mgt, treatment stuff well.
So here my weekend comes again!
