tml morning shift again! :)

same routine.
did dressings!

^^v three dressings!
two simple ones and one complex
two patients going home and one just admitted this morning.
morning is busy!

i meant after 10am.
immediately after ten, things getting more and more troublesome.
more and more complicated.
let me tell u...
-elimination (changing diapers, getting commodes, assist to toilets)
-para taking (if got hourly/2-hourly even worse)
-assisted shower
-bedbath/sponging
-dressings

yeah. that's all u got to do in four to five hours.
7 to 12pm.... u have to try to go for yr break before 12pm
busy busy!!!
yesterday and today busy!
me and sharifah went for break today at 12.25pm
spend more than half an hr for a complex wound + a simple dressing at the toe on the same patient
spend fortyfive mins help patient's elimination needs + sponging + dressings.
(normally only sponging + dressing takes about half an hr)
why i know how much time we took?

wahaha!!!
becos we students need to time how much time we had contact with the patients.
Contact time :)
we got stopwatches provided.
we need to chart down the contact time.

/got codes/
para-taking [O1]
taking 0xygen saturation [O2]
elimination needs [L1]
hygiene (full body) [H1]
dressing/stoma care [R2]
these r the ones i could rmb.
this charting down of contact time with the patient started this mon only.

I like my morning shifts in this ward! ^^v
