many interesting things happened! (:
i love this ward. love the patients. love the nurses. love the ppl working there!!!
lolx ^^
patient gave me food.
gave me a gd massage.
teach me how to massage & provide blood circulation to the body.
joke with me.
today been with many different kinds of patients.
lots of them.
as i have mentioned in my previous entry that most of my patients discharged.
not much patients there.
one patient is on NGT feeding. sacral sore. ++
need high dependency.
so... after changing diapers, changing dressing, NGT feeding,
patient transferred from this bed to the bed at behind cubicle.
to... Angie's cubicle!
hmm... angie has to do the changing diapers for her. oh no. need at least 3 students in order to change diapers.
and... is not very simple.
heard that she will be discharged at 16March.
this begins...
transfering the bed.
me and sarifah push the bed from the other bed to the bed that she's going to be transferred to.
and... we really have a hard time transfering ^^
transfer the special mattress that provides good pressure for those who r at risk or already having bed sores.
BLUE mattress/
got air pumping in. somewhat like a pressure mattress.
hahaha!!! we have no choice but to take out the plug when transfering.
air leaking out the moment we plug out.
oops... trying to put back the plug. but cant...
try hard...
try fast...
finally... after laughing and giggling for a moment.
air leaking and we trying to plug in so as not to let the air leak out till the bed deflated.

the patient smile at me the moment i smile at her!! she's so nice (:
but... she cant communicate. she speaks cantonese + chinese.
i got patient from other ward when last attachment held, transferred here in this ward.
woah. must take care of her... she changed alot. dropped alot of hair ):
went break with Sarifah at abt 6.30pm!!!
late, right?
having break for our afternoon shift so late!
poor thing, right?

eating in the staff rm cos we got takeaways.
this pentry guy came and sat in the staff rm with me to eat his dinner.
he eats so fast! guys mah, what do i expect? haha!!!
he so naughty. imitate my laughter. tease us. joke with us. chat with us.
well well. he's taken. lOlx.
he's from Europe. his name: Rohan. ( i think the spelling shld b lik tis. )
the last part; we say bye to him, then he say fine.
then the next moment he went out of the staff rm n switch off the lights.
duh!!! so bad. we're still in the rm. HELLO?!
darkness... but filled with laughter.
i guess - laughter could cover up the darkness (:
then i switched on the lights. he came in later.
=.= angry!!!
we went out and ignored him.
testing whether i'm a maths expert.
wahaha! our turn to tease him when we top up the paper cups.
total of 250 cups.
me- 1
sarifah- 1
auntie- 2
then we asked him to come over.
ask him how many cups are there. ( without telling him how many cups in total.)
haha! he failed. he anyhow guess.
laughter!!! ^^
after that. 8.30!!!
off shift, yeah!
haha! enjoyed myself.
even though it's so busy with the patients ;)
time to rest. yawn~
