Yohoho... late for attachment today!!!
Ahh... sobsob*
I meet adelia and zhou li together to go NUH.
First day attachment at NUH late somemore... haiyoyo.... :(
Bad impression siaz!!!
Reached Buona Vista at 6.35am...
Take bus 804 from my hse at 5.30am~ Wake up so early in the morning at 5am!!!
Stay in Yishun and need to go BV is like this de... haiz*
OKay... so i was trying to say i reached the bus stop at Buona Vista to take bus to NUH.
And... we were suppose to wait for bus 95 or 95A to NUH...
And... we waited until 6.45am... still no sight of our bus...
Then, one indian gal (yr 2) nursing attachment too.
She came and queue up... i look at her... i dont remember i saw her before.
Then, when 6.50am, bus 200 came and she went to get onto the bus.
I asked her whether this bus goes to NUH.
She nodded her head... and she say we gonna be late for our attachment. GOSH!
She says she always late one... oops*
aHhh!!! HOW?!
Blame ourselves???
Oh no... man!!! one mark gone in my clinical list. GOT marks!!!
AHHH!!! haiz*
Sian~ I reached there already 7.05am
U know what?
I go there... I have to go down a flight of 123 steps of stairs and run all the way to the lift and... take the lift to lvl 5 and climb stairs again to lvl 6.
WHY take the lift to lvl 5? cos... the lift only lead us up to lvl 6!!!
AHHH!!! late somemore... and then still like this.
Nvm lah... first day late 5 mins...
tml, cannot be late liao!!!
Somemore... bus 200 alight us at the bus stop which is far far away from NUH main building.
And and... we dont know bus 95 and 95A only starts at 7am!!!
WAh... damn idiotic lor... we still stupid stupid dont know and wait for nothing...
and the worst thing is late!!!
Adelia still can make it... cos her ward at 43... at lvl 4...
Ours at lvl 6... still need to take lift.
SOB! I and zhou li late 5mins.
I didn't tell my staff nurse.
But i also stay 10mins more with zhou li.
Because she was told to stay 10 mins more.
We leave at 3.10pm
Afternoon shift is from 12pm to 8pm.
Yeah... i tot is 1 to 9pm (Luckily^^v)
Wah... can leave earlier at night.
Not bad, at least reached home at abt 10pm
Alot of patients say i'm a jap/china person.
I'm a LOCAL!!!
A tamil ITE nursing student (yr 1 - 18 years old) Suresh* he helped me alot... ^^
I have done Uro-sheath on patient.
I perform vital signs (blood pressure, pulse and respiration)
Bed-bathing, changing of bed linens...
Give urinal,assist showering, urinating and passing motion.
I assist feeding a patient his lunch (porridge + pork + veg + veg soup + honeydew)
wow... i do alot of things...
For morning shifts (from 7to 3pm) is quite busy for us...
- Morning, have to get every patients to rise up... level up the head of the bed...
- for those green tags sit on the green chairs...
- for those who need to take medication, must take before 10am... or else medication error.
- GO showering, teeth-brushing... or oral tolieting*
- Serve breakfast foo those need assistance like for example patients with restraints.
Tml is morning shift too.
Need to wake up even earlier to catch the bus 200 at Buona Vista so that we wont be late
(^_^)nite everyone!!! Good news... got two patients are discharging soon.
One this afternoon, another tml... yeah*
I feel happy for them...
I'm taking care of 18 male patients in total... 18 beds... in 3 cubicles.
Tired... but dont have the mood to sleep.
Currently taking care of myself and patients too :)
